We are pleased to welcome Sheyma Buali, who will be leading the session. Sheyma works across the spectrum of cultural production and film exhibition and is currently Director of the BBC Arabic Festival and Head Programmer of the London Palestine Film Festival. Prior to this, as an arts and film journalist, Sheyma was Commissioning Editor for Ibraaz channel and Creative Time Reports and Culture Correspondent for Asharq AlAwsat.

Event details
Sheyma will be showing two films from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, followed by Q&A and discussion where she will comment on some of the issues raised in the films, their production contexts, the production routes for filmmakers in the Gulf and the broader film making process.
